Reaction is an action economy rule used to describe what a creature can do on its turn.
What It Is
A reaction is a quick response to a trigger, often outside your own turn.

How To Use It
Use your reaction when a rule gives you a trigger, such as an opportunity attack or a readied action.
Limits And Rolls
- You normally get one reaction per round.
- After using it, you cannot use another reaction until the start of your next turn.
- The triggering rule decides whether a roll is needed.
- You only roll when the rule, DM, spell, item, or feature asks for a roll.
