Ranger subclass
Monster Slayer
Identify weaknesses, mark prey, and disrupt supernatural effects.
Monster Slayer starts by changing the normal Ranger play pattern through Monster Slayer Magic; Hunter’s Sense; Slayer’s Prey, giving the subclass its first clear mechanical identity.
Later features such as Supernatural Defense, Magic-User’s Nemesis, Slayer’s Counter expand that identity at higher levels, so the subclass has a clearer role in combat, exploration, utility, or support.
