Paladin subclass
Redemption
De-escalation, damage redirection, and nonviolent control.
Redemption starts by changing the normal Paladin play pattern through Oath Spells; Channel Divinity: Emissary of Peace, Rebuke the Violent, giving the subclass its first clear mechanical identity.
Later features such as Aura of the Guardian, Protective Spirit, Emissary of Redemption expand that identity at higher levels, so the subclass has a clearer role in combat, exploration, utility, or support.
