Lore
Extra skills, Cutting Words, and earlier Magical Secrets.
Lore starts by changing the normal Bard play pattern through Bonus Proficiencies; Cutting Words, giving the subclass its first clear mechanical identity.
Later features such as Additional Magical Secrets, Peerless Skill expand that identity at higher levels, so the subclass has a clearer role in combat, exploration, utility, or support.
